What has been you most memorable wine tasting experience?
A lovely little cellar door in Beechworth, a hidden gem. The owner/wine maker was behind the bar, his passion and enthusiasm for his wine and the story was authentic & honest the wine delicious. I walked away with some lovely wines and wanting to return.

Sincere, Creative, Motivated
What is your favourite Pizzini wine and why?
If I have to choose one it would have to be a varietal…Nebbiolo in all its luxurious forms. It is romantic, complex, just enough fruit for my sweet tooth, just enough tannin for my dinner, the essence of rose petals (my favourite essential oil) and violets for the length that never lets me forget how good it tastes.
Describe your customer service philosophy
Pride in our products and the passion to have my customer have a great experience and to continue that experience with wonderful memories while drinking our wine or following one of Katrina’s delicious recipes.
What footy team do you barrack for – and why?
I should start by saying I know nothing about football other than the Aussie passion for the game, that is infectious. I would choose Carlton being an Italian, I have watched my brother support Collingwood and well that always ends in tears!!
Any other interesting facts about you?
On a cold winters night I can be found by the fire with a handsome glass of Nebbiolo and good company. Possibly some knitting needles on standby!
Carla has also just been accepted into the Wine Communicators of Australia's 2021 Mentor Program which is a fabulous achievement.
